Another ride incorporating the Rapaki Track is to come down from the Summit Road using the Huntsbury Track - a mostly gravel farm track that ends up at Huntsbury Avenue.

MT VERNON TRACK / SUMMIT ROAD

Head up around the top of Mt Vernon on the Summit Road or the Mt Vernon Track to get to the start of the Huntsbury Track.

HUNTSBURY TRACK (~15 MINUTES)

Huntsbury Track is mostly loose gravel with a rutty dirt section in the middle. It's a quick ride down to Huntsbury Avenue, for an even faster ride down the sealed road. Huntsbury Avenue runs into Ramahana Road before coming out on Centaurus Road.
